Our approach isn’t limited to financial donations. Where possible, we look at what Derwent can practically contribute—whether that’s materials, labour, technical expertise or a combination of all three.

We also work collaboratively with our manufacturers and supply-chain partners where bringing together their products and our installation expertise can help make a worthwhile project possible.

Derwent donated the supply and installation of carpet to support St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth and the important work it carries out within our local community.

In 2026, our team donated its time and expertise to prepare the subfloor and install new vinyl flooring within the Brunel Suite at Plymouth Albion, working collaboratively with Polyflor, who supplied the flooring.

It’s a great example of how our supplier relationships can be used to deliver something positive within our local community.

In 2026, Derwent supplied and installed carpet tiles for SALT South West, contributing our materials, time and installation expertise to support the organisation and its work within the local community.

In 2026, Derwent donated the supply and installation of Altro Whiterock hygienic wall cladding and vinyl flooring to create a specialist Crime Scene Room at Plymouth Marjon University.

By contributing both the materials and the skills of our installation team, we were able to support the development of a practical learning environment that will be used by students as part of their education and training.
